Attended a great 50th birthday party for my SIL.  Lot’s of fun and laughs!  I think she was surprised and her little daughter-in-love and her baby girl really did a great job!

Wonderful day at church but the West Texas dirt was blowing so terribly bad today.  I was not able to go to church Sunday evening because my sinuses were killing me.  UGH.

Mom having a really bad week.  Her meds are having major side effects and she is starting to really have a tough time.  Chemo started again today.

Benevolence day.  We had a lot of people today and the crowds are younger and younger.  What is it with the mentality of, “Let’s just not work and live off the system!”  I mean really?  A young lady actually said, “I will NOT work for such a low wage.  I mean why should I?  I have it made.”  Thank you to our government leaders.

Continuing the Bible Study on Wed. PM.  GREAT study!  A young man showed up wanting money… but we chose to share our food with him instead.  He did get a plate and sat down at the table in our Fellowship Hall with our church members.  I sat down with him so he would not be alone.  After a long conversation with him, I realized he was very schooled in the Word.  But I also realized he was very lost.  He uses the Word to make excuses for his lifestyle.  However, as he would quote scripture, I would come back with scripture and just ask him if he had thought about this or that… and he listened.  I hope he did any way.  He seemed to have heard…  and was interested in our conversation.  He was engaging and he thanked me for taking the time to visit with him.  He did not stay for Bible Study… but I am praying for him.  Hoping he will come back. 

Caught up on a lot of busy work.  Had to complete a payroll audit for the Workman’s Comp Insurance.  Finished quickly and am so excited it went well.

Date night with hubby tonight.  We went to see “One for the Money” with Katherine Heigl.  Cute movie!  We went to the drive-in and shared popcorn, drinks and a little snack.  I love our drive-in!

Chemo has been okay for Mom this week.  However she is still sicky sick from the meds she is taking.  Been a tough week.

Amy’s wedding shower is Saturday.  The bad thing is… the gift that I ordered came in damaged and had to be sent back.  I don’t have a gift for her shower!  Panic has set in… not sure what to do.

A little perplexed about a friend.  Have not heard anything but hoping things are okay. 

Looking for a dress for Amy’s wedding.  I hate this.  Really hate it.  I am hoping the right one will just pop out and say, “HEY, PICK ME!”

Big weekend… all my studies done this week.  WOOHOO! 

Had some questions about prayer that have been lingering in my heart for years.  Something between God and I.  This week I received my answers!  God is so good to allow us to be inquisitive and blesses us with the answers at just the right time.  He is a Gentleman, that Father God of mine!

Starting to inquire about getting rid of cable totally and checking into streaming more.  Have to find out about the football stuff.  That is the big thing My Sweet Hubby is concerned about!  LOL!
