If you have a spill it is best to promptly pat it dry with a sponge or a towel. An entire floor may cup from a concrete floor that is too wet. For this process you should open the doors and windows so that the moisture can escape.
In this video I show you how to fix water damaged laminate flooring without replacing it. Manufacturers generally recommend that you install your laminate flooring in no more than 60 humidity and no less than 30 humidity. Flooding or other significant water damage is a different story.
